Senior Pastor - Leonard Lord
Hello:
My name is Leonard Lord, Pastor of Light Of The World Tabernacle in
Port Richey Florida. My wife Kathy and I have ministered in the West
Pasco area for over 40 years. Twenty five years ago, we had a strong
visitation of the Lord’s presence. This visitation was a result of
seeking the Lord for our three year old daughter. She had major
kidney problems and was facing major surgery. It was that
desperation that brought us face to face with His conviction and
glory. After a season of visitations of the Lord, the call to
ministry was redefined and set in motion. At present we are in our
thirteenth year as pastors along side other pastors here at Light Of
The World. We have worked with Somebody Cares Pasco for about eleven
years. Our goal is to unite the Body of Christ to change our
communities. This can only be accomplished by following the Lord’s
Spirit into unity, holiness, and servitude to other spiritual
leaders, and our appointed, and elected city and county officials.
We have one message to proclaim. (The kingdom of God).
Associate Pastor - Glen Treadway
Glen
and JoAnn began serving the Lord Jesus Christ together in 1980.
JoAnn had been a Christian for many years but it wasn't until 1980
that Glen was born again. Since that time they have attended night
classes at Pasco County Bible Institute (now known as Moody Bible
Institute) and graduated in 1984. Glen and JoAnn have also attended
the Pastoral Training School at Christian Retreat, graduating in
1984 with the degree of Associates of Pastoral Ministries. Upon
completion of these courses, Christian Retreat ordained Glen in
1984. He was ordained by Light of the World Tabernacle in 1985 and
was appointed to the position of Associate Pastor. Glen and JoAnn
have been blessed with 3 wonderful children (1 now deceased), four
grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Glen is now leading the
Discipleship Class where all are seeking Gods presence to know how
to: Love, Learn, Lead, and is also the Treasurer. JoAnn is happily
part of the Praise and Worship Team.
